The Johns Hopkins University Programs in Madrid offer undergraduate and graduate students a variety of academic opportunities that combines educational rigor with a transforming immersion experience in Spanish culture. Founded in 2004 at the Department of Spanish as a semester program, the Madrid project has expanded and adapted to changing times opening doors to students with different academic interests which go behind the Spanish language. The traditional program in Spanish language and culture has kept its essence and, at the same time, the Johns Hopkins University has developed other projects in Madrid in the fields of engineering, technology, innovation and consulting.

Universidad Carlos III de Madrid is our partner institution and in collaboration with them we have created a diversity of programs in different disciplines that meets the academic needs of our students during fall and spring semester, intersession and summer. JHU-Madrid offers classes, research opportunities and consulting projects along with extracurricular activities.
